How to move a FrontPage Web to another machine

The ideal way is to publish between the machines via a network or Net connection.

Given that may not be an option, copy the files in \webshare\wwwroot\<web> and all subdirectories onto a floppy or zip disk.

Then go to the machine you want to copy to, and copy those files to \webshare\wwwroot\<web>

Now, in FrontPage Explorer, click on file, new FrontPage Web, and create an empty web with the *** exact *** name of the <web>.

This will then make the web as well as restore the navigation view (if you were using the navigation view).
